How can philanthropy create a critical mass for better ageing, disability and mental health outcomes?

Panel background

A year since its inception, the Ageing, Disability and Mental Health Collaborative Panel will discuss emerging opportunities, challenges and areas for focus affecting the sector.

At the forum, the panel will unveil its top future shaping projects; share some new resources and insights to support successful collaboration amongst not-for-profits; and explore potential opportunities for grant makers to get involved with our exciting priority projects.

The panel will also outline strategic priorities and projects to respond to these transitions and the role philanthropy can play.

The forum provides a unique opportunity to hear from key service providers and consumer representatives from across the ageing, disability and mental health sectors about what is happening on the ground.

The core members of the panel are:

  • Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO)
  • Council on the Ageing Victoria (COTA Victoria)
  • Carers Victoria
  • Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria (ECCV)
  • National Disability Services Victoria (NDS Victoria)
  • Psychiatric Disability Services of Victoria (VICSERV) Inc.
  • Victorian Council of Social Services (VCOSS)
